When photographer Patrick Lu went for a late night bicycle ride around Austin's capital building, he brought his camera - just in case.
The perfect moment did unfold before his very eyes in the twilight, as he witnessed a man bend down on one knee and propose to his girlfriend.
He dared not interrupt the happy couple, so the next day, he uploaded the images to Reddit to see if he could find them and share the photographs he was sure they would cherish forever.
Strangely enough, they found him first.
