the winner.
The July assignment was “Up in the Air.” Congratulations to Vilnius, Lithuania wedding photographer Giedrius Jankauskas for winning the ISPWP Photo of the Month.
Here are Giedrius notes about the image:
It was taken in the middle of
nowhere. I asked the bride to climb a haystack to take some static,
statue-like pictures, but after few test shots I wasn’t pleased with the
results. At that point I realized that the day before the ISPWP July
Photo of the Month was announced to be “Up in the air” and bearing that
in mind I asked the bride to jump of the stack. She said “Yes! On
three!” It has been done within a single attempt. She’s a real angel,
isn’t she?!
